It is located about 15 km from Nedumkandam on the Munnar-Thekkady route. . It is known as the land of wind and is the only place of producing wind energy in Kerala. The hills top also offers a panoramic view of picturesque villages of Bodi and Cumbum on the Eastern slop of the western ghats.
